The Black Crowes, India.Arie, Paul Davis Honored by Georgia Music Hall of Fame

On Saturday night, the Georgia Music Hall of Fame inducted its Class of 2010. The list of artists recognized by the Hall of Fame, includes: The Black Crowes, India.Arie, Paul Davis and Rev. Pearly Brown. Chuck Leavell spoke on behalf of the Crowes at the event, which took place in Atlanta at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. After the induction, the Crowes delivered a version of “Remedy” before Leavell sat in on both “She Talks To Angels” as well as the band’s first-ever take on the state’s official song, “Georgia On My Mind.” India.Arie also performed a 15 minute set, as did the band Styx, who honored their manager, inductee Charlie Brusco.
