Dave Matthews Band Confirms November Dates

Back in May, Dave Matthews Band announced that it would not be performing in 2011. However, following an October tour of South America, the group will return to the U.S. for a series of November shows. It is quite possible that these gigs represent DMB’s final performances until 2012 when the group is expected to hit the road once again. The tour opens in Buffalo on November 2 and wraps up in the group’s home base of Charlottesville, VA with performances on November 19 and 20. The band has tapped some notable acts to open the tour: Amos Lee, Punch Brothers, John Butler Trio and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. The general public onsale for these shows will take place on September 24 and 25.
The group’s current tour picks up on Friday in Texas.
