Phish to Release Coral Sky DVD

Confirming numerous rumors, Phish will release the DVD Coral Sky on October 19. The 2-DVD set captures Phish’s November 2, 1996 performance at Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, FL. The DVD will capture the complete, uncut concert, including choice versions of Talking Heads’ “Crosseyed And Painless” and “Run Like An Antelope,” as well as a sit in by Allman Brothers Band drummer Butch Trucks on “Funky Bitch.” Santana’s Karl Perazzo, who augmented the group a few nights earlier on Halloween, is also featured on percussion throughout the show. According to Phish’s camp, the DVD “was created from archival videotapes of the multi-camera lawn screen feed and the audio was mixed from multi-track masters in stereo PCM and 5.1 surround.”
