1320 Records to Host Georgia Theatre Benefit
Construction on the theater begins
The members of STS9 will headline a benefit concert for Athens, GA’s Georgia Theatre on Saturday, October 23. The benefit gig will take place at Spring Valley Eco Farms, which is located approximately four miles from downtown Athens. In addition to live PA and DJ sets by STS9, the evening will feature two groups on STS9’s 1320 Records label, MiMOSA & Two Fresh
STS9 formed in Georgia and spent years playing shows at the Georgia Theatre, including a sold out 9 year anniversary ‘homecoming’ concert. A large portion of the proceeds from this event will help the rebuilding effort of the legendary Athens venue, which burned in a fire on June 19, 2009

Acclaimed photographer Pamela Littky directed this short film, which shares the story of Howlin Rain. Rick Rubin produced the group’s next album, The Russian Wilds, which is set for a February 12 release.
