New Music from Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur and Dhani Harrison

On Tuesday night at The Village studios in Los Angeles, Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur and Dhani Harrison debuted their new project. They performed eight songs as Fistful of Mercy joined by Jessy Greene on violin as well as drummer Jim Keltner, whose credits include work with Harrison’s father, the late George Harrison. Fistful of Mercy was previewing songs from the group’s forthcoming album As I Call You Down, which is set for release on October 5. The performance, which aired on KCRW yesterday, is now streaming at the station’s website.
