The Tales Enlist Big Kenny and Kevin Cronin for REO Speedwagon Classic

As their MySpace page explains, “The tale of The Tales is masked in mysticism and theories. Some speculate that they are all orphan brothers from the border region of New Mexico while others have heard they met as Cub Scouts in the Appalachian mountains of Virginia. But, in reality, they are thug gangster crack babies from LA. They have a merch table in the back.” Last night The Tales added to their mythos during a performance at Brooklyn Bowl. There the group was joined by Big & Rich’s Big Kenny and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin for a version of the REO classic “Keep On Loving You.” The Tales will be profiled as an On the Verge band in an upcoming issue of Relix.
