Stockholm Syndrome’s New 10"

Next week Stockholm Syndrome will return to the road to perform its first East Coast shows in six years. The band, essentially a supergroup consisting of Dave Schools (Widespread Panic), Jerry Joseph (frontman for The Jackmormons), Eric McFadden (Keb Mo, Les Claypool, PFunk Allstars), Danny Louis (Gov’t Mule, Cheap Trick) and Wally Ingram (Sheryl Crow, Jackson Browne), has been working on new material much of which will appear on its second studio album, Apollo, slated for release early next year.
“Everybody in the band is really looking forward to our first East Coast appearances since 2004. It’s been far too long” says bassist Dave Schools, “We are also excited to offer a preview of our forthcoming full length album in a cool limited edition 10” vinyl format at these upcoming shows.”
The 10” will be available for the first time as the band kicks off its ten date tour with two shows in Georgia, at the 40 Watt Club in Athens (Wednesday) and at the sparklingly refurbished Buckhead Theater in Atlanta (Thursday). The Heavy Pets will open these two shows. The tour will sweep through The Carolinas, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland before wrapping up at the Brooklyn Bowl on September 12.
