My Morning Jacket will reopen Portland, ME’s the State Theatre on October 15. The classic venue, which was built in 1929 and closed for renovation in 2006, will re-open this fall under the guidance of the people behind Higher Ground and Bowery Presents. Other upcoming shows at the room include: Josh Ritter (10/22), Guster (10/27) and Michael Franti & Spearhead (11/6).
My Morning Jacket guitarist Carl Broemel has also confirmed a short solo tour in support of his new album All Birds Say. Broemel’s solo shows can be found below:
