World Premiere: New Music from The Derek Trucks Band

Roadsongs, the new double-live album from the Derek Trucks Band is set for a June 22 release. We are excited to preview two of the songs from the new recording via our audio player. We are now presenting the opening track, “I’ll Find My Way” as well as the group’s take on Already Free’s “Get What You Deserve.”

Here is what Derek has to say about the songs: “When we played Chicago, the tour was just getting started, and the new songs from Already Free, like “Get What You Deserve,” were still fresh. That tune is really fun to play when the groove is locking and I remember it feeling great that night. “I’ll Find My Way” is a tune we’ve played for years, and Mike always sings the hell out of it. We reintroduced it into the set in 2009 and it started to take on a new life, especially with the addition of the horns.”
