Widespread Panic: Tour Update, Win Tickets

Last night, Widespread Panic returned to Greenville, SC for the first time since 2002 for a performance at the Bi-Lo Center. The group opened with an old Jerry Joseph song the band recorded for its new Dirty Side Down, “North,” and debuted another one of the album’s tracks, the Jimmy Herring-led “Cotton Was King.” In addition, the band nodded to Cinco De Mayo with “Casa Del Grillo” and performed “Coconut” for the first time since December 31, 2008.
In other news, Relix/Jambands.com has teamed up with MSG Entertainment and Live Nation to give away a pair of tickets to see Widespread Panic at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. As previously reported, the group will return to Radio City for the first time since 2007 on July 22.
