Gathering of the Vibes Adds Sharon Jones, David Gans and Others
Sharon Jones will appear at Gathering of the Vibes.
Gathering of the Vibes has confirmed a number of additional artists. Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings will now perform on the event’s mainstage and several newly confirmed emerging bands will perform on the festival’s Green Vibes Stage. Those acts include: Jamie McLean Band, Lubriphonic, Caravan of Thieves, David Gans, Leroy Justice, Kung Fu, Macpodz, King For A Day, Turbine, Hot Day at the Zoo and The Trapps, among others. The festival has also revealed its late night schedule: Big Sam’s Funky Nation (Thursday), Deep Banana Blackout (Friday) and Mix Master Mike (Saturday). Other acts scheduled to appear include: Primus, Jimmy Cliff, Nas & Daman Marley, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Rhythm Devils, Little Feat and Assembly of Dust.
The event will return to Bridgeport, CT from July 29-August 1. The festival’s final headliner will be confirmed on May 15.
