Woodsist Confirms California Fests
Woodsist, a Warwick, NY-based record label featuring several experimental indie bands with roots in the jam-scene, will host two West Coast miniature festivals this June. The first of the two fests will be held in Big Sur, CA at the Henry Miller Library from 3-11 PM. The event will feature Real Estate, Woods, Kurt Vile, Moon Duo, The Fresh and Onlys, The Art Museums, The Mantles, Eat Skull and Spectre folk. The festival’s promoters encourage fans to camp at several nearby camping areas.
The second fest will take place in Los Angeles at The Echo and Echoplex venues. Ten bands will perform on the two stages, including Real Estate, LA’s own Abe Vigoda and All Saints Day, the new project from members of Vivian Girls and Cat Power.
