Relix.com Premieres New Album from Roky Erickson with Okkervil River
April 20 is the official release date of True Love Cast Out All Evil which teams Roky Erickson with Okkervil River. This is Erickson’s first release in fourteen years and Okkervil River’s Will Sheff produced the recording. The album draw together twelve songs that Erickson has composed over the years, “detailing with heart-breaking candor a harrowing life that has included shock treatment, imprisonment, mental illness, and irreversible loss.” Click here to hear the premiere of the new record.
