Audio Exclusives: Umphrey’s McGee, G. Love and Roky Erickson/Okkervil River
Relix.com has just uploaded a slew of new audio content. As previously reported, we are currently hosting the world premiere of Roky Erickson’s new album with Okkervil River, True Love Cast Out All Evil. The entire album can be streamed here.
Over at Cold Turkey, Relix.com presents an exclusive solo acoustic set by G. Love. Recorded on the festival circuit for Relix last summer, the mini-set features a mixture of the singer/guitarist/harmonica-ace’s live favorites, as well as some previously unreleased originals.
In addition, the Jam Nation archives presents the second half of Umphrey’s McGee’s September 16, 2001 appearance on the program. This Umphrey’s McGee performance took place just 5 days after 9/11, a solemn event which bassist Ryan Stasik addresses at the close of “Get In The Van.”
