New Rhythm Devils Dates

Grateful Dead drummers Bill Kreutzmann and Mickey Hart have long been collectively known as the Rhythm Devils. The percussionists formally revived the name in 2006 for performances at the Jammy Awards and the accompanying Green Apple Music Festival, and the paired performers have toured as the Rhythm Devils on occasion over the past few years. The latest version of the band includes Hart’s longtime friend Sikiru Adepoju on talking drum, as well as a few new collaborations: Keller Williams, Back Door Slam guitarist Davy Knowles and former Black Crowes/Gov’t Mule bassist Andy Hess.
A few weeks ago the Rhythm Devils confirmed an appearance at Bridgeport, CT’s Gathering of the Vibes, and now the group has locked in a number of other dates. As of press time those dates include:
July 17 North Plains, OR—Northwest String Summit at Horning’s Hideout
July 18 Jacksonville, OR—Britt Festival
July 24 Driggs, ID—Spud Drive In
July 25 Salt Lake City, UT—Red Butte Garden
July 29 Bridgeport, CT—Gathering of the Vibes Festival
