Lollapalooza is the latest festival to confirm its 2010 lineup. The three-day event will return to Chicago’s Grant Park from August 6-8, featuring headlining performances by ‘90s alt-rock kings Soundgarden and Green Day, as well as Lady Gaga. Soundgarden was part of the second Lollapalooza in 1992, while Green Day first appeared at the seminal festival in 1994. Lollapalooza will also feature the first confirmed U.S. date on Arcade Fire’s 2010 tour, an appearance by the recently reactivated Strokes and a marquee performance by Phoenix. February/March Relix cover subject Drive-By Truckers and June Relix co-cover subject MGMT will also both appear. Other confirmed acts include: Social Distortion, Jimmy Cliff, Hot Chip, The Black Keys, Cut Copy, The New Pornographers, Spoon, Devo, Cypress Hill, The National, Wolfmother, Blues Traveler, Yeasayer, Javelin, Dragonette, Gogol Bordello and Chromeo.

Several notable acts will also appear at the festival’s Spinning at Perry’s performance space. In addition to festival founder Perry Farrell, those acts include: Didi Gutman of Brazilian Girls, Cut Copy (DJ Set) and Beats Antique.
