ATP New York Confirms Artists

All Tomorrow’s Parties will return to Monticello, NY’s Kutsher’s Country Club from September 3-5. As in years past, ATP New York will feature of mix of music, comedy and film, as well as guest curators. On September 3, a number of notable bands will perform one of their classic albums as part of the festival’s Don’t Look Back day: Iggy & The Stooges ( Raw Power ), Sleep ( Holy Mountain ), Mudhoney ( Superfuzz Bigmuff + Early Singles) and The Scientists ( Blood Red River ).
ATP will celebrate 10 years on September 4 with a day of past ATP curators, ATP Recordings artists and friends. Those bands include: Sonic Youth, Explosions in the Sky, The Breeders, Tortoise, F**K Buttons, Bardo Pond, Beak> (featuring Geoff Barrow of Portishead), The Books, Papa M, Sleepy Sun, Apse and Avi Buffalo.
Finally, filmmaker Jim Jarmusch will curate ATP New York’s September 6 festivities. His choices include: Sunn O))) and Boris present Altar, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Hope Sandoval And The Warm Inventions, Raekwon, Girls, Dungen, F*Cked Up, Wooden Shjips, The Black Angels, Vivian Girls and White Hills. All three days will also feature DJs and Cinema presented by Criterion.
