The Black Keys and Band of Horses to Open for Pearl Jam

Pearl Jam will play a number of arena shows this spring. In addition to a previously confirmed stop at New Orleans’ Jazz Festival, the alt-rockers will focus mostly on the Midwest and East Coast. Band of Horses will open all Pearl Jam’s opening shows, with the notable exception of the band’s May 20 stop at New York’s Madison Square Garden. Recent Relix cover subject the The Black Keys will open that performance.

A special ticket presale for current members of Pearl Jam’s Ten Club begins Monday at 9AM PDT.

Pearl Jam recently announced that they will also play a series of select European festival and headlining tour dates in June and July of 2010. The band’s European dates kick off in Dublin, Ireland at the O2 Arena and close at the Optimus Alive Festival in Oeiras, Portugal.
