Thom Yorke Will Tour with Atoms For Peace

Last October Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke performed three L.A. gigs with a new quintet. That band also featured Flea, Mauro Refosco, Joey Waronker and Nigel Godrich. Today on the Radiohead website Yorke announced a number of April dates for the group. In addition he revealed that heretofore the group will be called Atoms for Peace. He explained, “It has been decided that we call ourselves Atoms For Peace. hope you like the name.. it seemed bleedin’ obvious.” Atoms for Peace will open their two with two nights at Roseland Ballroom on April 5 and 6.
