Sublime Co-Founders Gigging Again Under Revised Name

Last fall the founding Sublime rhythm section of bassist Eric Wilson and drummer Floyd “Bud” Gaugh announced that they would resume working together again with Rome Ramirez under the name Sublime. However, the family of the late Sublime guitarist/vocalist Bradley Nowell protested and ultimately a California District Court Judge issued a preliminary injunction preventing the trio from performing as Sublime. The group has just announced that they will return to the stage as a three piece under the revised name Sublime with Rome. At present the group has confirmed six spring dates that will touch down on both coasts starting with a fitting April 20 performance in Los Angeles at The Palladium

Sublime with Rome Dates

April 20 Los Angeles, CA The Palladium
April 23 Oakland, CA Fox Theatre
April 26 Denver, CO The Fillmore
April 28 Chicago, IL The Riviera Theatre
May 1 New York, NY Roseland Ballroom
May 5 Philadelphia, PA Electric Factory

I have always loved Sublime and will continue to support the band, but I’m glad they are revising the name. Sublime will never be the same without Bradley, their principle singer, songwriter, and guitarist; although I will continue to follow the band and support them on their summer tour!
