String Cheese Incident to Play in 2010
The String Cheese Incident will return to the road this summer. After a two-year break, the Colorado-based group will play a limited number of shows in 2010. The band will return to Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre—the site of the band’s final shows—from July 23-25. In addition, the group will host a multi-band festival at North Plains, OR’s Horning’s Hideout from July 29-August 1. String Cheese Incident’s longtime management and production company Madison House—who also produced Rothbury in 2008 and 2009—will curate String Cheese Incident’s Horning’s Hideout event.
For these upcoming shows String Cheese Incident’s lineup will include: Keith Moseley, Michael Travis, Kyle Hollingsworth, Jason Hann, Michael Kang and Billy Nershi. The group is expected to add additional shows in the coming months. According to the band, “In 2010, look for SCI to continue to think out-of-the-box about their musical journey – hosting special events instead of the typical tour-routing, exploring new ways of releasing new recordings, and building on their reputation as innovators of fan participation.”
As previously reported, the members of String Cheese Incident will appear on the Colorado radio station KBCO’s Studio C today. String Cheese Incident’s only shows since 2007 took place at Denver’s Ogden Theatre and Rothbury last summer.
String Cheese Incident’s upcoming shows include:
July 23-25 Morrison, CO—Red Rocks Amphitheatre (“an evening with…” shows)
July 29-August 1 North Plains, OR—Horning’s Hideout (additional acts TBA)
