DMB Sets 2010 North American Dates

Dave Matthews Band has announced an extensive Summer 2010 North American tour. In addition to amphitheater and festival dates, the band will continue a tradition of playing baseball stadiums with dates scheduled at Pittsburgh’s PNC Park (7/10) and Queens, NY’s new CITI Field (7/16-17). DMB opened St. Louis’ Busch Stadium in 2008 and has played a total of four dates at Boston’s Fenway Park since 2006.
Also, to make up for canceled 2008 and 2009 dates at the USANA Amphitheater in Utah, the band will perform a free show at the venue on August 17. Ticket priority will be given to those who purchased tickets to last year’s scheduled performance at the venue (the band missed its 2008 Utah show because of LeRoi Moore’s funeral and its 2009 stop at the venue due to health reasons). Supporting acts throughout the tour include: Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, The Felice Brothers, Yonder Mountain String Band, Robert Earl Keen, Martin Sexton, Zac Brown Band, Amos Lee, Gov’t Mule, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, Brett Dennen, Raphael Saadiq and Ben Harper and Relentless 7. The tour kicks off on 5/28 in Hartford, CT and concludes on 9/15 in St. Paul, MN.
DMB, the top-selling touring artist of the decade (according to Pollstar and Billboard), is set to perform on the 2010 Grammy Awards telecast on January 31 and will launch a month-long European tour in Hamburg, Germany on February 16.
