The National Confirms New Album, Radio City Show

Indie rock band The National, one of the groups profiled in Relix’s “Smells Like Hippie Spirit” Indie/Jam feature, will release a new album this May. The currently untitled disc is scheduled for release on 4AD. The band will support the new album with a series of North American and spring dates, including two shows at Richmond, VA’s aptly named The National (4/22-23), an appearance at Paris’ Le Zenith with band heroes Pavement (5/7) and a headlining appearance at New York’s Radio City Music Hall (6/16). The tour will kick off at Knoxville, TN’s Big Ears Festival the weekend of March 26-28 (National guitarist Bryce Dessner will curate the event).
