The Roots brought their Roots Picnic to New York City’s Bryant Park for the first time in the event’s history. Typically held in their hometown of Philadelphia, The Roots welcomed an all-star lineup to the stage as David Byrne, John Mayer, Wu-Tang Clan, Nile Rodgers, Alicia Keys, Common, D’Angelo and many more or two collaborative nights of music backed by Jimmy Fallon’s house band. Celebrities like Dave Chappelle, Amy Schumer and Neal Brennan also made appearances. Marc Millman shared some photos from the weekend.
