North Carolina’s MerleFest is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with another round of folk and bluegrass acts that will come together at Wilkes Community College in Wilkesboro, NC, on April 27–30, and now the festival has six more artists added to this year’s lineup.

Heading up the additions are The Avett Brothers, along with Steep Canyon Rangers, Mandolin Orange, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, Sierra Hull and Chatham County Line Electric Holiday. They join a lineup already featuring Zac Brown Band, who will be playing an acoustic set, Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, Jim Lauderdale, Jerry Douglas, Peter Rowan, Mountain Heart and more. Seth and Scott Avett’s father Jim Avett will also be performing.

More artist additions are expected in the coming months. Tickets for MerleFest 2017 are available now. More information on the festival can be found here.
