The String Cheese Incident Meets The Moth

Here’s a look at the String Cheese Incident’s performance from the Which Stage on Saturday night at Bonnaroo, which saw a bonus dance routine, a flying dinosaur, inflatables and a mysterious moth soaring above the venue. Click here for a short video clip of the action.

terrible set, marred with sound problems, anybody find out they tried to get some guy in a jet pack over the stage which resulted in 30 seconds of loud hissing feedback forcing the band to stop(check some video and you’ll see them ripping out their in-ear monitors), and i get they’re cheesy but seriously stick to your guns and play good music, doing a dance routine and throwing a giant t-rex cant make up for the lack of decent music. sad to see a good band go bad…why was everyone so impressed with this set?!?!?

because it was fantastic set, they had a couple issues but that didnt stop the band from jamming that night, and they had the crowd grooving all night…it was great music

SCI brought it to the house late-night Bonnaroo! Not only was the band on every note, the added balloons, dinousour and floating moth lady just added to the fun. As for the dance moves and the sexy sax man… I took it as an inside joke poking fun at all the hip-hop artists that were at Bonnaroo this year. With Eminem, Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa there this year, it’d only be right to poke some fun at them with a jump suit hip-hop groove. Even Eugene Hutz poked fun at this year’s lineup, saying it was some “Gangster Shit Yo”

Not sure what that guy is talking about… this was one of the best shows of the weekend (if not THE best). Of the 20 or so String Cheese shows I have seen this was BY FAR the best. I have been to 6 Bonnaroos and this ranks up there with any of my favorite Roo performances

This incident was so much fun!! Great music and of course the T-rex and jet pack man. Great to see these guys back on the farm. Now let’s hope this set inspires them to tour nationally. The jam scene NEEDS SCI back on top
