Last year Rosie McGee drew on her 10 year stint living and working with the Grateful Dead to write Dancing with the Dead—A Photographic Memoir: My Good Old Days with the Grateful Dead & the San Francisco Music Scene 1964-1974. McGee was Phil Lesh’s girlfriend at the time the Grateful Dead formed. Here she sits with Dennis Leonard at TRI Studios to talk about the book and her experiences with the group.
