The Flaming Lips album The Soft Bulletin came out in June 1999. This record saw Wayne Coyne and the group move in a new direction, with a richer sound built on layers of instrumentation. Pitchfork has created this 45 minute film on the making of the album, which it once hailed as one of the top 5 albums of the 1990s.
