Ingrid Michaelson and The Children of Newtown (Produced by Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth) "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club co-founders Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth raised their children in Connecticut, not so far from Newtown where 20 children and 6 adults were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. In response, the couple invited the children Newton to join them along with Ingrid Michaelson to record a version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” with proceeds from sales of the digital single and ads revenues from video views directed to Newtown Youth Academy and the United Way of Western Connecticut.
