Two from the Terrapin Family Band "Shakedown Street" and "Brown Eyed Women"
Although Phil Lesh is currently in New York City for a series of area performances the Terrapin Family Band continues to perform. The group—which came together as the house band at Lesh’s San Rafael, CA venue Terrapin Crossroads took the stage on Wednesday night. The Terrapin Family Band features Phil’s sons Brian Lesh (guitars, vocals) and Grahame Lesh (guitars, vocals) as well as Ross James (pedal steel, guitars, vocals) and Scott Padden (drums). Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers’ Deren Ney sat in throughout their set. The group will perform again at Terrapin Crossroads on Sunday, starting at noon. Thanks to Stuart Levine, who filmed the videos below.
