Nice. I don’t play guitar but enjoyed the lesson out of sheer respect for talent. I wish there were books of sheet music for Ween. Anyone know how to score one? I want to give it to the pianist at my work so I can here classical versions of Ween while I bartend.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this song and I LOVE Mickey. He’s a brilliant musician. Its funny, I had my boss transpose a Ween song into staff so I could get it tattooed on me. But I don’t think he’s good enough to transpose to full- blown classical sheet music.

before me Halloween has become a hoaldiy of people just dressing up and giving or receiving candy. Now as far as I know Halloween started out with people giving gifts to the dead to appease the spirits. (My knowledge is a bit rusty because I studied halloween a few years ago and haven’t since, so if I’m wrong please forgive me) I agree that the history is evil but today it’s just some silly night of getting candy. Now kids may dress up as witches or goblins but it’s all fake. Real witches don’t have green skin and brew pots of potions to turn people into other creatures, nor do they fly on broomsticks. Should we be afraid of something that doesn’t exist? No. But if a kid gets scared because of some of the costumes I’d take them home or to my local church if they didn’t want to go home. (I don’t have kids mind you, I’m only 14! I’ve never even had a girlfriend.) But that’s what this is all about. In 1 Cor. Paul basically says why are you throwing a fuss over eating a meal that was sacrificed to something that doesn’t exist? Same question here: Why do we throw such a fuss in partaking in a hoaldiy that celebrates things like zombies, goblins, ghosts, things that don’t exist? In Corinthians Paul tells us it’s ok to partake in eating idol meat as long as our conscience isn’t disturbed. Same thing here. If you feel it’s ok to celebrate Halloween go ahead. Just don’t cause anyone to stumble in their walk with Christ.Well that’s my 2 cents. Thanks for the rant space.
