Phish "Skin It Back" and "Purple Rain" at Jones Beach

Here are two Phish bust outs from the past two nights. On Tuesday the band covered Little Feat’s “Skin It Back” for the first time since 7/29/88. On Wednesday Jon Fishman took the lead on Prince’s “Purple Rain,” a song the band last performed on 7/25/99.

Update “Purple Rain” (with a bonus Tuck reference going back to 6/18/12), has been pulled down. We’ll get a new one up there, In the interim we have “Happiness is a Warm Gun” which the band last played on 10/31/94, followed by the “Star Spangled Banner.”
