10 Memorable Dylan Covers

Bob Dylan turns 71 today. In celebration, we’ve compiled 10 of our favorite Dylan covers ranging from the Grateful Dead’s take on “Visions of Johanna” to Phish’s version of “You Ain’t Going Nowhere” to Eric Clapton’s bluesy rendition of “Don’t Think Twice It’s Alright” to Jimi Hendrix’s classic cover of “All Along the Watchtower.” Be sure to let us know if we’ve left out your favorite!

Grateful Dead – “Visions of Johanna” (March 19, 1986)

Phish – “You Ain’t Going Nowhere” (July 30, 2003)

Eric Clapton – “Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright” (30th Anniversary Concert)

The Byrds – “My Back Pages”

George Harrison – “If Not For You”
