Phil Lesh and Levon Helm Ramble in 2010

Phil Lesh will kick of his second week of West Coast Rambles tonight at Terrapin Crossroads, with Chris Robinson, Tim and Nicki Bluhm, John Skehan, Adam MacDougall, Grahame Lesh, Jaz Sawyer and Jon Graboff. Here’s a look back to 8/13/10 when Lesh joined the Levon Helm Band for a Ramble On The Road at The Independent in San Francisco.

Nice post – I’m going to load up the CD player with my Paul Simon CDs tighnot while I’m working in the studio.And to the previous post – I lived in the dorm right next to the Greek Theater in Berkeley and recall the Grateful Dead concerts (early 80’s variety – Berkeley wasn’t quite so 60’s as it was in the 60’s but it was still Berkeley) with much amusement (everyone sat on the roof of the dorm to get the “free conert” experience). I grew up in a small conservative town and these concerts (along with all of Berkeley) were quite the culture shock.
