A Look at The Radiators’ Reunion

Almost a year after officially retiring, The Radiators reunited for a set at New Orleans’ Howlin’ Wolf on Tuesday night. The band’s original lineup played a 40-minute set to benefit RADS bassist Reggie Scanlan, who is recovering from a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

The show also featured Scanlan’s current project the New Orleans Suspects, which brings together the bassist, drummer Mean Willie (Neville Brothers), saxophonist Kevin Harris (The Dirty Dozen Brass Band), guitarist/vocalist Jake Eckert (The Dirty Dozen Brass Band) and keyboardist C. R. Gruver (Outformation). The Radiators’ Dave Malone and Camile Baudoin both sat in with the Suspects.
