I would never have otuhght of doing that. Even otuhgh at times I get so frustrated when I purchase something and half or part of the item isn’t up to par or has some defect in it. I always just grumble and figure what can you do? I’m still not sure IF I can do this but I may give it a try specially via email I mean what can it hurt they ignore you or tell you to bad…. =) Or like you maybe a coupon or something to reimburse for the defective ones =) Great tips!
