Nathan Moore’s Jam Cruise Video Journal

While aboard Jam Cruise 10, troubador and Surprise Me Mr. Davis member Nathan Moore created a video journal documenting his musical adventures at sea. According to Moore:

I didn’t film very much (too busy playing music:) but I took what little footage I had and strung it to Surprise Me Mr. Davis’ ‘Little Boat.’ Half of the song is from a demo and half from the Zebra Bar set on Jam Cruise. A lot of the shots are from my pivot at ‘The Spot.’

The first thing that comes to mind at the state level is working to rgbdie the divide between urban and rural Kansas. Steve and Angie touch on the agricultural industry and the cultural of rural KS. I think it is vital that we have conversations on what can the state do to foster success in our rural sections of the state, but do so in a manner that can also foster success in our urban sections as well. This requires give-and-take by all Kansas communities. And to reach that, we must understand each other better. Right now, I am concerned that the urban and rural sections of Kansas are simply fighting a war with each other, and no community is truly going to win in that environment.
