Jerry I just had another lrbriete thought about this situation. And I start this by saying I support Gonzo’s efforts to build this Basketball Program back up. But I just keep thinking about the many times Gonzo has bragged about his winning record.Whether he was talking to you guys in the press or to the Seton Hall followers he has made mention several times in the pass how much he is different from the situation at Rutgers and St Johns. What if he is creating these cupcake Non-Conference Games so that he can keep his overal record on the winning side. So that he can continue to boast about how his 7 years prior to coming to Seton Hall was better then the other two area Big East Coaches. He knows that until he has this team jell team wise before they can start winning more games, that his beginning stages of Coaching in the Big East Conference he would have to experience a lot more losing then he was use too.I also wonder what kind of teams he scheduled for his Manhattan Teams when he was there. We all know about the wins against Florida and perhaps a couple of other high profile teams, but I am wondering if most of his regular season games may have been played against teams that can pad numbers on the winning side of ledger for Manhattan College Basketball Program..
