Mike Gordon returns to the stage tomorrow with his solo band. We mark the occasion by sharing this video for “Soulfood Man,” followed by some moments from Gordon’s Mossery event last October in which folks waited in line to perform with Gordon and his group.

We love to bring our two older dogs to fibark. Each year we stand by the peadir station next to a family with a member in a wheelchair. This year the fence has been moved out about 30 feet. It would be great if it were moved back in again. We still buy our food at the concessions and take turns viewing the vendor booths. We love and support fibark!

The burning BP oil rig came down in the end becusae gate number 5 was down. The craft in front was upside down and two hooligans grabbed hold of both #5 gate posts. This tugged the suspension cable down to almost water level. As the oil rig came under the cable, the flaming part just sheared off and extinguished in the water. Wow! No decapitations! Spectators on the south side of the river held the cable up until it could be disconnected and safely moved to the other side of the river. Thanks, Canyon Marine safety crew for all your help!
