Great work JW. Hope to see you lighting up a UM show soon. Get further Northeast than NY in the fall.

AWESOME!!! Thanks Man!

Excellent stuff Relix. Of course some aren’t gonna “get” it. Whoever posted “poor you,” needs to check his/her OWN life. The negative remarks all seem to have a jealousy ring to them. This is a very interesting window into the dual life this guy lives. Give us more!!!

I’ve gotten to part 3 so far. Excellent work, Jeff! Really very touching and personal. Wow.

Love the quick shot of Aspen! Too bad you can’t get the full lighting effect at the Belly Up, but it is great to see them in such a small venue.

Am I the only one who can only view “And Miles To Go” in every video above. Beautiful video, and I love it, but I’m hungry for some Wafuls!

Jonathan Kay May 11, 2011, 15:26:33

I’ve watched the intro, the first part, and half of part 2 and I’m still waiting for something of substance.
Is this gonna be a series Waful’s therapy sessions, or is he actually going to give us insight beyond “life on the road is hard and I’m tired”?

Vic May 12, 2011, 02:47:05

Real… The insight and truth to something I love to do as well is perfectly captured with what I’ve seen so far. It has been well worth the wait….

poor you

I love how the footage of “Almost Famous”, which arguably glorifies life on the road with a rock band, and “The Last Waltz” which is the ultimate story of a band that was haggard and worn out (emotionally and physically but not musically) by the road and hanging up their touring shoes, is cut with jeff’s story of his life and struggles on the road and his glorious light shows, all set to the music of Umphrey’s. I’m kinda gettin hooked on this!

Matt May 13, 2011, 16:33:06

It’s called Jeff Waful +1 if you don’t want to watch Jefferson then watch something else. This is his journalistic journey it’s not an umphrey’s biography but we still get plenty. Thanks Jeff keep it up!!

I agree with Matt ^^^^ !!! Good Work Waful! do what makes you happy man.
