Andrew VanWyngarden and Hank Sullivant Pre-MGMT: Accidental Mersh

Back when they were Memphis-area high school students Andrew VanWyngarden and Hank Sullivant performed in a group called Accidental Mersh. VanWyngarden moved on to Wesleyan University where he co-founded MGMT with Ben Goldwasser. Sullivant attended the University of Georgia and co-founded The Whigs before leaving that group in 2006, then touring with MGMT for a stretch before focusing on Kuroma.
