, it is difficult to get back to the home page from the cunrret issue page, I think the navigation bar should be included on this page as all other pages, and we should pick one color for background of the navigation bar. The navigation bar for the blog is black, but all the others are white. I like the drop-down menu on the table of contents for the cunrret issue. I think it helps keep it clean and easy to navigate. However, just below it, there is a lot of “white space” that needs something. There is some discrepancy on how to navigate within the cunrret issue. When you click on the “Current Issue” side bar on the homepage, clicking on “Things Darkly Buried…” it takes you to the page, but then the navigation within the issue is above in the artwork and doesn’t look good. I think it would look better somewhere else. I think we need to consider just how people are going to be able to navigate the cunrret issue, and eventually, the archives. Finally, what kind of “font palette” will the site have? Will there be different fonts or bold or larger versions of fonts for headings? I don’t think there should be any sans serif fonts on the side, because they are more difficult to read, and look cold. The cunrret font for the navigation bars has a weird “s” that is offsetting the rest of the type. I think Baskerville looks great, but the bold-12-point version might be a little too thick. I think Cambria looks better in the bold.
