Visions of the Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival: Del McCoury and David Grisman’s "Big Mon Jam" and More

The Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival returns on Saturday, as the Congress Theater will host performances by Drive-By Truckers, Dawes, Joe Pug, Bailiff, Van Ghost and many others. Last Saturday, January 21 at the Auditorium Theatre, the Del McCoury Band and David Grisman came together for the “Big Mon Jam” on a night that also saw music from Bill Nershi, Jeff Austin, The Travelin’ McCourys, David Grisman Quintet, Joe Purdy and many others.
