How about “Something” from Abbey Road? That was the first dance at our wedding.

Here Comes the Sun! I think people forget that he wrote that one…

Two things come to mind…Seeing the Darkhorse tour was a huge thing. Saw the early show at the Montreal Forum. All these years later, STILL at or near the top of the Best Shows list!!!
The other, playing Here Comes The Sun on the middle pier of the railroad bridge in my home town. While playing a small bird came and hovered in front of me until I finished…LOVE You George!!!

When I think of George I always think of enjoying Ravi Shankar at the Troubador in LA, ca 1979 (?). George was in the audience. Well, not exactly in, but definitely there. That, and an old film clip of George explaining how Bach informed his music.

George has inspired me in so many ways…Unfortunately, I was born a little late and didn’t really learn about The Beatles until after that dark day in 1980 when we lost John..I was 14 and became immersed in their music. It became My Music (Mom loved Elvis and My Uncle loved Motown) I shortly came to realize that George’s music was always there since my folks always had the radio on! I remember ‘What is Life’, ‘You’, among many other songs. His music and his spirit lives on…

Well! I was almost 12 yrs old & my big sister took me to see the Beatles at Cleveland Stadium in 1964. It was SO exciting to me. While I was walking way up towards the top of the seat sections, trying to take it all in, a limo pulled onto the field, a swell of screams made me look, and there they were! The only one who turned my way was George. And he seemed to look right at ME and waved! Lucky girl I am! I still have my ticket and a piece of the drop cloth that was under the drums. Sweet!
