Stop Making Sense is the best, bar none.

Ween – Live in Chicago

Stop Making Sense, a close second being The Last Waltz. Madonna’s Truth or Dare will always hold a special place in my heart, what can I say? I was a teenager =)

For a straight live concert? Springsteen – Hammersmith Odeon ’75. For a more doc oriented film? Wilco – I Am Trying To Break Your Heart.

Stop Making Sense, hands down. Or, up.

For the Phish talkers February 13, 2013, 11:43:32

IT and Clifford Ball are great but you must have never seen Bittersweet Motel = best Phish concert film by far.

End of the Century is a great documentary about the Ramones. Pearl Jam’s PJ 20 is another great documentary too. I’m also surprised nobody mentioned The Kids Are Alright.
Bob Marley’s Live at the Rainbow is also really good at conjuring up magic.

Tough one but got to go with Pulse which is taken from the very last round of concerts that Pink Floyd ever performed at Earls Court in London in 1994. While Roger Waters was no longer a part of the band David Gilmour was nothing less than spectacular as lead singer and guitarist. If you like Floyd this is truly a must watch. Runner up goes to the Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense (love seeing David Byrne in that oversized white sports coat).

The Last Waltz
Ween Live in Chicago
A Concert for George
Stop Making Sense Though Technically the Ween one was filmed over a couple nights I think, so that might be cheating.
