Doctor’s Orders: What Song Best Puts You in That Holiday Spirit?

As we head onward into the second half of November, please share the song that you best associate with the upcoming holidays, whether it’s something on the nose “White Christmas, “ “Dreidel Song,” or something a bit less so (most anything from the Sigur Ros album Takk triggers that for me as well as the Phish song “Destiny Unbound”- I think because I first heard it when I was home for the holidays in late December 1990). Anyhow, please share your thoughts below. Once again, at least one of your responses will appear in the next issue of Relix…

“Alice’s Restaurant”! Could it be anything but that? It’s a Thanksgiving tradition and way more satisfying than the meal…

My pick is something like Dean’s as well. For me it’s Phish “Sneakin’ Sally Through the Alley.” I always think back to MSG 97.

Seems like your RSS feed just started utanpidg after a bit of a hiatus. Anyway, the spreadsheet is great, especially the page of remasters. Some of those are outstanding. The only things I don’t like about the spreadsheet are that they don’t tell you which source they’re using and don’t link to lossless versions.I still have all of my tapes in the crawl space, although I recently gave away all of my burned CDs to free up one of my racks for kids movies.
