Friday at Mountain Jam saw a pair of special performances as Wilco welcomed out Jason Isbell for a take on “California Stars,” as Isbell sparred with guitarist Nels Cline on the tune. Earlier in the day, Courtney Barnett offered up the live debut of her contribution to the Day of the Dead compilation with a rendition of “New Speedway Boogie” during her set.
