Umphrey’s McGee and Around the Horn have written yet another chapter in their beautiful love story. Yesterday on the show, Tony Reali sent the show to commercial to the sweet sounds of “Bad Friday” from the band’s latest, The London Session, recorded at the famed Abbey Road Studios. Take a listen below.

In case you’re new here, there’s a lot of catching up to do. First, Umphrey’s McGee visited the set in Washington, DC after finding out that host Tony Reali and several of the staff members at the show were fans. Then, at a show in Silver Spring, MD, Tony Reali came out on one of his favorite songs, “Layla” during the set. He played piano and percussion and was, according to Joel Cummins, surprisingly good. It really all culminated in both parties making this relationship official as Umphrey’s replaced the show’s theme music with their own studio jam.
