Kings of Leon have become quite the music video connoisseurs, drumming up an emotional and well-crafted film for their new song “Beautiful War” and now delivering this hometown homage for “Temple,” their latest single from Mechanical Bull.

The video for the rocker, which ranks among the best tunes on the band’s latest effort, is a bit straightfoward but showcases the band’s hometown of Nashville as well as some clips from inside the studio. All in all, a classic rock and roll music video that seems to be a lost art these days. The Kings are currently on tour, performing at Boston’s TD Garden tonight.
