Watch: Father John Misty Covers Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs”

While on tour in Vancouver, Father John Misty stopped by CBC Music to perform an intimate set that featured a cover of Arcade Fire’s “The Suburbs.” The already beautiful song got that special J Tillman treatment as the I Love You, Honeybear singer delivers a flawless version of the title track from one of Arcade Fire’s absolute best albums.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard Father John Misty rework an emotional rock song, as he offered up his rendition of Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box” earlier this year as well. Take a listen to “The Suburbs” below.
